Exhale Psychiatry is based in Milwaukee and sees adults across Wisconsin by secure video. The evaluation, the cognitive testing, the follow-ups and the retesting all happen from home. Adults 18+. No referral needed.
How telehealth works at Exhale
- Before your visit: your intake paperwork and the 25-minute cognitive test arrive by email once you book. You complete both at home before your visit.
- Visit day: a photo ID, a location in Wisconsin and a private place to talk. At your first visit we check your photo ID on camera to confirm we're treating the right person. Headphones help. You're alone for the visit unless you tell us at the start that you'd like someone to join for part of it.
- After: your written report, completed within 48 hours and delivered on request; prescriptions sent to your local pharmacy.
Why you need to be in Wisconsin
Medical licensing works state by state, so telehealth visits are for patients located in Wisconsin at the time of the visit. If you'll be out of state on your visit date, reach out and we'll reschedule.
Stimulant medication by telehealth
Under current DEA rules we can prescribe stimulant medication by video after a thorough evaluation. Every visit requires you to be in Wisconsin.
